About Me

Kelly Houston (she/her) is a registered dietitian and lactation counselor who is licensed in Illinois and Missouri. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, she attended the didactic program in dietetics at Saint Louis University. She also completed her dietetic internship at Saint Louis University, before attaining her Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Alabama.

As a certified lactation counselor, Kelly can also provide education and support for the youngest members of the family and their nursing parent. She’s trained in baby-led weaning and can help with the transition to solid food.

Kelly is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and belongs to the following practice groups: Cardiovascular Health and Well-being, Behavioral Health Nutrition, Women's Health, and Pediatric Nutrition.

Kelly hopes to help her clients: build confidence in their food choices, increase their energy level, manage lab values, decrease guilt and shame around eating, and increase their flexibility around food.

She practices in the O’Fallon, IL location and via telehealth.
