Erica Branz
MS, RDN, LD, CEDS-S (she/her)
Hi, I’m Erica, founder of Branz Nutrition Counseling.
While I no longer see clients regularly, I remain deeply involved in our practice through leadership, clinical supervision, and mentoring dietitians who are passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care.
At Branz Nutrition Counseling, my mission is to create a space where individuals and families can receive support that feels realistic, non-judgmental, and aligned with their values. Through our team, community partnerships, and mentorship programs, I am committed to expanding access to compassionate, weight-inclusive care.
Why I Do This Work
I became a dietitian because I saw how much guilt, confusion, and frustration people carried around food and their bodies. My early work in eating disorder treatment showed me the profound impact compassionate nutrition care can have on someone’s life.
When I opened Branz Nutrition Counseling in 2012, my goal was to create a practice where people could receive support without shame or judgment. While our practice has grown over the years, that mission remains the same today.
I am also passionate about supporting fellow dietitians through supervision, mentorship, and business coaching, helping them build sustainable careers while staying connected to their values.
My Approach
Whether I’m supporting a client, supervising a clinician, or mentoring a business owner, my approach is:
- Compassionate
- Collaborative
- Direct, yet supportive
- Values-driven
- Weight-inclusive and evidence-based
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel heard, respected, and empowered.
