Nutrition Therapy for Chronic Disease, Eating Disorders, and Disordered Eating with Intuitive Eating Coaching – Improve Your Relationship with Food and Body
What is an intuitive eating coach?
An intuitive eating coach is a professional who provides guidance, support, and education to individuals interested in adopting intuitive eating principles and practices.
What is the intuitive eating program?
Our intuitive eating program is a structured approach to learn the principles of intuitive eating. We provide online or in-person nutrition counseling, meeting you where you are to overcome diet culture and disordered eating. Begin healing your relationship with food and body today and learn how to implement these key principles.
Reject the diet mentality
2. Honor and respect your hunger
3. Make peace with food
4. Challenge the “food police” (there are no “good foods” and “bad foods”)5. Recognize your body’s fullness cues
6. Discover enjoyment and satisfaction in eating7. Manage emotional eating (get coping skills to deal with feelings without using food)
8. Respect your body
9. Introduce movement into your daily life
10. Honor your health
What does an intuitive eating coach do?
An intuitive eating coach helps an individual to overcome dieting rules and beliefs that they may have lived by for so long in an attempt to try and control their weight. We are all born intuitive eaters, however diet culture has wreaked havoc on our confidence to fuel our bodies appropriately making us feel nervous to follow our true hunger and fullness cues when it comes to feeding ourselves. An intuitive eating coach provides structure and guidance on how to ditch diet culture and get back to a place of feeling at peace with nourishing ourselves.
How much does an intuitive eating coach cost?
We accept most major insurance companies and the majority of our clients pay little to nothing outside of copays or deductibles to meet with a member of our team.
We also offer military discounts as we are not in network with Tricare. We always recommend checking your insurance benefits regarding nutrition coverage as coverage depends on the patient’s individual insurance plan.

Does insurance cover intuitive eating nutrition therapy?
We are in-network with many insurance companies. Insurance-based nutrition counseling is based on your insurance provider’s approval and specific insurance plan. We can only provide services based on what they allow, following their specific guidelines. Such perimeters include:
- Limitations in visits
- Requiring a certain amount of time in between appointments
- No additional support between appointments
- Check your medical nutrition therapy benefits here.
While nutritional counseling can be beneficial for various conditions, we find that, specifically for those suffering from disordered eating, continuous support and ongoing accountability is the game changer in achieving recovery.
We believe that full recovery is possible with the right support and treatment. We look forward to being part of your healing process.

SIFU 5EFITTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend this place! Super knowledgeable and very helpful! 10 out of 10!!! - SIFU Eric ToenniesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been sending patients to Branz for a while now and there is nobody I trust more than these nutritionist and dieticians. They actually care about you and take a deep dive into your life to see what all is the reason or reasons that you cannot obtain the results you are looking for. They provide a great plan on how to get you from A to B in the best way possible. My favorite part of their care is when a patient comes back and tells me how thorough they have been in covering what is going on. Loshi VueTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I can’t say enough great things about this practice! The team brings professionalism, heart, and deep clinical expertise to every discussion. Their initiative to keep learning, growing, and leading within the field of nutrition truly sets them apart! HeatherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We’ve worked with Branz Nutrition Counseling on several occasions, and each experience has been exceptional. The team is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but what really sets them apart is how down-to-earth and approachable they are. Talking about food and eating behaviors can be very vulnerable—much like discussing any other mental health concern—and it makes a huge difference to work with people who meet you with kindness and zero judgment. The team at Branz truly makes people feel supported. They’re not there to lecture or shame; they’re there to help. We’ll continue to refer people to Branz because we trust they’ll be met with compassion, respect, and real expertise. Shawna RicheyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Working with Michelle Wilson, RD, has been such a gift. Michelle’s warmness and professionalism shine through in every interaction, and she creates an environment where clients feel safe, supported, and truly cared for. As someone who frequently refers clients her way, I have complete trust in Michelle’s expertise and compassionate approach. I know that anyone I send to her will be met with thoughtful, individualized care, and that peace of mind is invaluable. I cannot recommend Michelle and Branz Nutrition Counseling highly enough! Hannah MilksTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Working with Michelle Wilson is a joy. She approaches each person as a human, not a "patient". She naturally balances humor and light heartedness with the necessary dedication, thoughtfulness, and empathy required to create meaningful change in people's lives. I highly recommend working with Michelle. Megan GleicherTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot recommend Michelle enough. They are truly one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable dietitians I have ever worked with. Michelle understands the deep connection between mental health and eating disorders, and they approach their clients with kindness, flexibility, and genuine care.
