Jessica Schleicher

MS, RDN, LDN

Locations:  In-person in Missouri / Telehealth across various states

My name is Jessica SchIeicher! I became a dietitian because of my love for food, cooking, and baking, and my belief in how food can make you feel good. I wanted to help others see life beyond their eating disorder. What I enjoy most about working with clients is getting to know people and hearing their stories.

When you work with me, I hope you experience less food noise, a greater enjoyment of food, and more energy. I want you to walk away with an improved quality of life, nutrition guidance tailored specifically to you, and a stronger mind-body connection. I also hope you gain a better understanding of your hunger and fullness cues, along with a deeper sense of connection and understanding to your food/nutrition needs and body.

I Love Working With…

Ages: 15 years old+

  • Individuals in midlife who are ready to make peace with food after years of dieting by learning Intuitive Eating as a sustainable approach to honoring their unique nutrition needs
  • Introspective individuals who want to understand why they eat the way they do and are tired of letting external factors dictate their nutrition
  • Individuals with eating disorders, including restrictive eating disorders and binge/purge behaviors, who are motivated to do the deeper work of healing
  • Individuals ready to explore body image healing through a compassionate, non-diet lens
  • Individuals seeking Medical Nutrition Therapy or general health and wellness support through an Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size (HASE®) approach, guided by curiosity rather than rules
  • LGBTQIA+ individuals seeking inclusive, affirming nutrition care

My Approach

Outside of work, I love spending my free time reading, baking, and watching a good (or bad) reality TV show. I enjoy time outside with friends, family, and my two dogs, Junior and Luna. Traveling is a passion of mine, especially exploring National Parks — I’ve been lucky enough to visit Zion, Arches, The Badlands, The Smoky Mountains, The Rocky Mountains, Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone, Canyonlands, The Grand Canyon, and The Grand Tetons, so far!
