MS, RDN, LDN

Locations: In-person in Missouri / Telehealth across various states

Hi, my name is Sami Tilley! I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. I recently moved to Missouri, but am originally from Ohio. I work part-time at Branz Nutrition Counseling while also serving as an inpatient clinical dietitian at Missouri Baptist Medical Center. Both roles provide me different perspectives on nutrition and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with diverse populations.

I have a passion for all aspects of nutrition. Ever since I was little, I have always loved food. Whether it’s cooking, creating new recipes, or trying new restaurants, food is the foundation of many of my hobbies. As I got older, I knew I wanted to share that passion and love with other people.

As a dietitian, I now work towards supporting people as they heal their relationship with food. I love working with people from various backgrounds and strive to meet you where you are at in your nutrition journey. I want you to feel like you have someone in your corner rooting for you when it comes to nutrition. Whether that be as a resource, accountability partner, educator, or counselor to share your feelings with. I like to integrate personalized nutrition care and use evidenced-based practice. I aim to take a holistic approach to understanding you better, not just the challenges you may face when it comes to nutrition.

My Approach

My counseling style adapts to the needs of the client. I can help support long term and short term goals while incorporating evidenced-based practices. Your nutrition can be extremely personal. My goal is to create a space where you feel as comfortable as you would talking with a close friend or family member. I aim to create an accepting environment so that you can talk freely without fear of judgement. I utilize different frameworks to help you build self-confidence with nutrition, body image, education and practice. After your time with me I hope you can take the tools we have worked on and apply it outside of sessions.

Outside the Office

In my free time, I enjoy working out, playing sports, cooking, and exploring the city. My perfect Saturday is going to a farmer’s market in the morning, stopping at a bakery on the Loop and getting coffee, going to the gym, and then coming home to my two orange cats, Cheddar and Gouda.
