College Eating Disorder Support in St. Louis and the Metro East
Starting college is hard enough without an eating disorder in the mix. If you’re a student in the St. Louis or Metro East area working through recovery, you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Maybe you’re a freshman still adjusting to life away from home. Maybe you’re coming back to school after treatment. Maybe recovery was going fine until midterms hit, or a new roommate, or a dining hall that makes everything feel more complicated than it used to. Whatever brought you here, it’s a good time to get support in place.
At Branz Nutrition Counseling, we work with college students dealing with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID, OSFED, chronic dieting, and other patterns around food that have gotten in the way of daily life. Our dietitians understand that college recovery looks different than recovery at any other stage, you’re juggling classes, a new level of independence, a social life, maybe a sport, and trying to take care of yourself all at the same time.
We work with students across the St. Louis metro and Southern Illinois, including O’Fallon, Edwardsville, Belleville, Collinsville, and the surrounding Metro East communities.
Here’s how we can help:
- In-person appointments at our Missouri and Illinois offices
- Telehealth sessions, whether you’re living on campus or off
- Scheduling built around your class times, not the other way around
- Coordination with therapists, doctors, psychiatrists, or campus health services when it’s helpful
We regularly work with students from SIUE, Southern Illinois University, McKendree, Lindenwood, SLU, WashU, Webster, Maryville, and SWIC, so wherever you’re enrolled, we can likely make it work.
You don’t have to choose between school and recovery
A good semester doesn’t mean a perfect one. It means having enough support that you can keep moving forward even when things get chaotic… and college life will get chaotic. You deserve a college experience that isn’t run by an eating disorder.
If you or someone you care about is looking for eating disorder support in the St. Louis or Metro East area, we’re here. Reach out to Branz Nutrition Counseling to set up an appointment and head into the semester with some real support behind you.
